Jayden's Here!

Talk about speed! Jayden wasted no time today and set a new "Stillman & Michelle Family" record of 7 hours and 29 minutes of labor. Alex took 15 hours and 59 minutes. We checked in at 6:00am this morning to induce labor and Jayden arrived at 1:29pm. Around noon the nurses had checked Michelle and she was dilated to about 4.5cm. So daddy figured he could run out to get a bite to eat with Alex and Grandpa Lipsh. After he got to the car he realized that he forgot his keys and had to return to the delivery room. When he entered the room Michelle was already an 8 and when the doctor arrived a few minutes later she was a 10. He's nearly a carbon copy of Alex when he was a newborn. Very cute baby! See the pictures........

Baby's here!

Welcome to the world little buddy!

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!!

Hi!
We just wanted to take a minute and say thank you to everyone who came and helped us pack, move, clean, and unpack!!. We were able to get everything over here in just two trips thanks to every one's trucks. I have never had that many people show up to help us move. And we have moved a lot. The landlord was very impressed with our cleaning job. He said that he has never had anyone clean that well before. I believe him because it was cleaner than when we moved in. I just have to thank Ricks College (BYU-I) for teaching me how well to clean an apt. All those white glove checks really saved us some money!!! We have the downstairs to the point that we can live in it and we just need to unpack decorations. We will tackle the upstairs today. All that work put me in for a night of contractions. I even woke Stillman up which is very hard to do. I got very little sleep and yet I am still pregnant. Which is good, because now I can find everything I need for tomorrow. Bright and early. We will be giving you all calls soon enough!!!

P.S. Good Luck tomorrow Jill and Scott!!!!

Imitation is the best form of flattery

We bought this baby doll when we were trying to make the cake for my shower. Alex immediately fell in love with it. He wouldn't let us put him on the cake, because he would "get all yucky" he has been taking care of it ever since. He feeds it, burps it, changes his clothes. This day he was following Brigitte around and copying everything she did for Brogan. Make sure you mute our music before watching.

Update

Okay so round one of our packing job is Done!! We have packed up everything except what we need for the next week and whatever we think the baby will need should he come early. It's a race now to see which comes first the baby or the house. We just got news that the mold that they found in the house was successfully removed and passed inspection.

.......by the way we just learned something new, the fan in the bathroom is not ment to help your nose. It is there to keep the moisture out while you shower. So run your fan while you shower or you may have mold growing in your attic/crawl space........

The seller's are completly moved out. Now we are just counting down the days to closing day. We had the opportunity to close this monday. But we decided not to since we won't have the trailer, or help moving, or the time off untill next weekend. Plus it will save us $50.00 in closing cost. So we are on schedule to close Wednesday, finalize and get the keys on Thursday. At which point we start round two of packing.

As far as baby news. I am being induced at 6:00 am Monday the 28th. So far I have had several bouts of Braxton Hicks contractions. A few of them lasting an hour or so but they eventually stop. We are anxious for this little guy to come, but I think I would prefer it if he waited at least untill next sunday!! Not that I have any say in the matter though.

oh sorry for the people that have tagged us. Maybe when I am done cleaning and stuff I can find the time to finish them.

Pregnancy Pictures

Here are some of the pregnancy pictures we had taken recently. It's very handy to have a photographer in the family. I never thought we would have this many pictures taken (studio pictures)of our family. Thanks Mom!!!

Alex is proving to be a very helpful big brother. he constantly amazes us with how much he understands about this pregnancy. The other day he told me that i shouldn't drink soda because baby Jayden doesn't like it.

WE GOT THE HOUSE!!

Just got notification from our agent that the seller's signed the contract and the house is ours. He actually called me last night, without me knowing, to let us know. I checked my phone after the priesthood session (which is when he called) and it didn't show any missed calls. We've been sitting around anxiously waiting and thinking that something went wrong. The seller's were supposed to respond to our counter offer by 1:00pm today. So when I called him today he said, "Don't you ever check your voice mails?". Of course not! We'll be signing final papers on the 25th and moving on the 25th and 26th (assuming that the baby does not show up early). Michelle is due on the 28th, so if she goes full term we'll move on the 25th and 26th and then take her to the hospital on the 28th to be induced. I know we're crazy! But we want a bigger house, that we can call our own, no matter what the stress. I guess Jayden will never know that we ever rented. Please let us know if you will be able to help us move, we need all the help that we can get!

Prison Town, USA (My Hometown)

I copied Brigitte's post on this. It is a documentary about the town I grew up in just before moving to Boise. If you go to Jeremy and Brigitte's blog you can see the trailer for it. I will try and post it later. As Brigitte says this will show you why I love the Boise are sooooo much and have no desire to back there. However there are good things about the town. After all that is the place where my family started going back to church. So don't judge it too harshly.

........... PBS has made a documentary on Susanville CA. it is called "Prison Town USA" and explains so well the strange dynamics that are there. I have not seen it yet other than the trailer and I have read the synopsis. If any of you want to check it out I will post the links. Now maybe you can understand why we disliked living there so much and why my family no longer does! This is so funny to me and takes me back to our first reactions when we moved there. It was something along the lines of ...."This is what we traveled all the way for? Are you serious?"Jeremy has never visited this place so I was excited to show this to him. However I think it only shows the bad side of the town and I guess there were good things and good people about it too, just not enough to stay there forever. :) Sorry if any of you that visit the blog are still there and love it, no offense.HERE is the link to the official website's synopsis.......
