Birthday Surprises

A Few Days ago this little guy turned six! We are so blessed to have this little man in our life. He is a great Friend and Help to us all!

Stillman invited us to come have lunch with him.

Alex asked for a surprise party.  Grandma Donna took him to Jumpin Jungle While a few of us set up. He got a bigger surprise than he was expecting, I guess.

The next day Alex had all his friends (Cousins) over for a sleepover and video game party. The kids were awesome! We were pleasantly surprised that everything went so smoothly. We had lots of helpers and everyone had lots of fun.
.

They were all set up to sleep when we realized Ginny wouldn't settle down, so we moved them into the other room.

Here is the video that we will be sending into AFV.

Bun In the Oven

How I Told Him:

I knew Stillman would be calling me first thing in the morning and I just didn't want to announce the news over the phone. So I got the kids up and we hurried out to get breakfast all the while ignoring Stillman's phone calls and text messages. When we go to his work he was M.I.A. So we left his treat on his desk and ran a quick errand while we waited for Stillman to call us back.

How We Told Them:

We decided to go ahead and tell everyone even though it is really early. From other woman's experience who said the support was better this way. So right now all we are relying on is -+ from a stick. We have not even been to the doctor yet. We also were not sure our kids could keep mum. So good luck or Bad. We are Pregnant!!

We were going to tell the rest of our family the same way, but poor Alex got sick. We were a little worried about the news leaking out before we had the chance to do personal visits to everyone. So we went the digital way and sent a fun email and poem out.

Can You Figure This Riddle Out?

I'm a riddle in nine syllables,
An elephant, a ponderous house,
A melon strolling on two tendrils.
O red fruit, ivory, fine timbers.
This loaf's big with its yeasty rising.
Money's new-minted in this fat purse.
I'm a means, a stage, a cow in calf.
I've eaten a bag of green apples,
Boarded the train there's no getting off.
What am I?

You have until 11/11/2011 to figure it out
