Updates!

This Sunday we are blessing Jayden! Any and all are welcome to come.
Alex is potty training! He is doing great, I'm not sure what brought on the change. We think it was seeing a tiny baby getting his diaper changed and realizing that he is not a baby any more.

Memorial Day Weekend! Warning lots of Pictures!

Well for the long weekend we had quite a few visitors. Our house actually managed to stay clean for while. Amazing what having people over can motivate you to do.

Our first visit was from Michelle's Dad and Jody. They came to meet the new babies and of course see Alex and all of us as well. We took them to Boondocks and then we all went out to dinner with Aunt Rita and Cousin Kristen and Issac.

Our second visitor was Michelle's cousin Callie. She is staying the summer with Mom and trying to decide if she wants to make the move permanent. On Monday we went and played Frisbee Golf at the park. Then Later that night we went to see the new Narnia Movie (I liked it better than the first, I also liked this book better as well though.)

Also on Monday we went to a barbeque with Stillman's side of the family. The guys played basketball, the kids played at the playground... It was nice and relaxing. We even had a few visitors on that side as well. Aunt Deb and cousins Alivia and Danea (sp?) came to see everyone. We were even surprised to see Grandpa there broken leg and all .

It so great to be surrounded by this many family members. Here are some pictures of our super busy weekend.

Jayden loves his brother. This morning Jayden would smile at Alex which would make Alex Laugh, Which would make Jayden smile. So Alex would laugh so Jayden would smile.....well you get the idea. This went on for about five minutes. We have seen Jayden smile but it is usually while he sleeps. So it was so sweet to watch them interact this way with each other.

Alex's First Hickie!

So it's true, Alex got his first hickie last night playing doctor in the bathtub. Daddy was sitting next to the tub watching him and thought that it would be funny to stick a suction cup fishy to his forehead. So he grabbed one and stuck it to my forehead and said, "Look daddy......we're doctors!". He then quickly took mine back off and said that I wasn't a doctor and he was the only doctor. So we had fun with this for about 10 minutes (for which he had his suction cup on his forehead the whole time). Needless to say, it left a mark that will stick around for a couple of days. Let me know if you have any hickie removal tricks. Hope you have a good laugh looking at his picture, becuase we sure did.

Mother's Day!

Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day!! I went shopping for some non maternity pants for my present. I got some great deals at, as Stillman calls it, Ben and Jerry's :) just kidding its called Steve and Barry's (everything is under $9.00). When Stillman and Alex got home from camping we decided to go miniature golfing at Boondocks for mothers day. What a fun outing! Golfing happens to be one of Alex favorite things to do. That and bowling. The volcano hole scarred Alex even worse than it scarred Shawn and Stillman :) ! Jayden slept the whole time. On Sunday we had a great time visiting with our families. We would like to wish all our Grandmothers/Moms/Friends a great day!! Sorry we couldn't be with all of you on your special day.

Missing my boys :(

The Father Son camp out is tonight and I am missing Alex and Stillman. This is their first Father Son camp out and Alex's first camping trip ever. Very exciting!! I rented a movie and ordered Chinese food (my favorite comfort food) however it's only 9:00 and the food is gone and the movie is over. To top it off my phone is dead and I can't find the charger, so I missed the phone call to tell me that they made it there OK. So if anyone hears from them, IM me or comment below to let me know that they are OK. However I am enjoying my alone time with Jayden. Maybe I will open up my book and get some rest tonight. I will post pictures of their camp out soon.

Shots and Circumcision

Oh What a sad sad week for our little boys. We had to take them in for their doctor appointments. Jayden had his first well baby appointment, where he weighed in at 8lbs 4oz. Alex unfortunately had to get a shot that we had missed. When I told him he had to get a shot that day he said, "but, I Will be very very sad." Later after the shot, Where his cries almost brought both Daddy and I to tears, He yelled at us. "I do not like shocks!!" He took a swing at both Daddy and the Nurse. Fortunately he missed the Nurse. A few days later we brought Jayden in for his circumcision and a poke in the foot. I don't care what they say they can too feel it. Our happy go lucky newborn would randomly cry out in pain for the rest of the day. However He now weighs 9lbs 2oz. What an oiker!! On a happier note we get to give him his first bath tonight. He lost his cord at the doctors.

Birthday Buddies!!

Here is a picture of Jayden and his new cousin. All through my pregnancy Alex would get so dissapointed if someone else "beat us" to the delivery room. I told him early on that Jill wouldn't beat us. She was due after me. Well I told the truth, but only by hours. With all the drugs and excitment it only occured to me yesterday that these two cuties share the same birthday. Congratulation Scott and Jill!!!
