Out of the mouths of Babes

So I will add this to my sidebar later but I wanted to start it here.

Michelle: "Alex, you need your shoes on."
Alex: "that's Ok Mom, I can go little foot."
Translation: littlefoot=barefoot

Alex likes to get a big family hug and Sing We Are a Happy Fandily (that is not misspelled)
so we are sick today and Alex says. "One Happy Fandily not feeling so good."

Cousin Nikki the other day is watching Backyardigans and says very matter of factly "I'm going to be a giant someday."

Husband of the year!

If any of you know Stillman, you know what a BSU fanatic he is. Well this last week he has been working double over time, and even pulling an all nighter. So the kids and I have not seen much of him. We were offered a BSU ticket, and rather than leave me with the kids again, he is sending me to the game. Soo Sweet if you know Stillman. I told him next game I will watch the kids. So going to the game tonight without BSU's # 1 fan. Thanks Stillman.

Here is an example of the rolling over. I had just laid him down to change his diaper. he rolled as fast as I have ever seen him do it. Burped, laughed, and then fell fast asleep.

He's on a roll!

Well Jayden is on his way to being a cruiser. He rolled over from his back to tummy yesterday. I was watching the women's balance beam (bout time those judges got something right) and he was almost there, he just had that last elbow to hurtle and with a little push of his legs he was all the way over. He had already rolled tummy to back last month. He likes to push his feet and scoot to get something. Next week he gets to try rice cereal. He has already tasted Pizza! yes that's right Pizza. We went to get pizza after going to the Twin Falls Temple. Jayden grabbed Alex fork and attempted to shove it in his mouth. The majority of the Pizza hitting his forehead, but he did get a taste of sauce.

A change of heart

I was told this story at a barbecue we just went to. I hope "Aunt" Becky doesn't mind me telling it. Her brother was asked to be part of the Twin Falls Temple security during the open house. There were a couple of people protesting the temple and they were wondering how they were going to handle it. So her brother walks up to the protester and asked him if he had ever been through a temple before. Oh of course not, he would never go in there. Her brother then offered to hold the protesters sign for him. He said he would hold it up as high and as long as he wanted him to, if he would go through the temple tour. after a while he finally persuaded the guy to go through the temple. Her brother stood there holding the sign for him for about a half an hour. When the man came out of the temple he walked up to her brother and told him he didn't need his sign anymore, and walked away.

What We've been up to.

Twin Falls Temple. Alex has been asking to go inside the temple. What a blessing that we live so close to the opening of a temple. It was great to take all of our little family through. The spirit was still so strong even though the temple had not been dedicated. We even ran into a few familiar faces. We met Curtis and Deedra there. Along with Seth and Monica. We also saw Ken and Cori and Fam in the hallways. It's a beutiful temple. We want to return and do a session there soon.

Slip and Slide. A Co-worker rigged this fun not-so-litte slide up in his backyard. The last two years he has invited the office over for some sliding and food. One game the guys like to play is to see how long they last standing.
Alex would race Ellie to the bottom of the slide on foot. He was very tired by the end of the day!
Alex eventually got brave enough to go down from a shorter distance.

BSU!!

And in honor of the Fall Football season beginning Stillman has requested a new color Scheme. We are going to the Scrimage this saturday if any or all would like to join us. It is 7:00 pm. Go Broncos!

I loved it! I love how the character Bella evolves. Kannie I think you should read the rest of the books I don't think you'll be as irritated by Bella by the Fourth Book. I was going to say that I liked The Host better than the twilight series, but the fourth book made up for it and they are defiantly a tie. I can't say I like them better than the HP series. Apples and Oranges. they're different. Good Reads the lot of them. I was going to change my background when I was through reading them, but I like it too much. I will leave for a few more days. This a recent interview with Stephenie Meyer

MTV: Did you purposefully plan out the demographic you were writing for?

Meyer: The surprise was really the young adults, because when I wrote "Twilight" it was for me, and I was 29. So it was for the moms who still remembered what it was like to be 17. But then it really caught on with the 17-year-olds, and I'm not surprised at all by the 30-somethings. I love them all! [Laughs.]

MTV: Do the tweens and 30-somethings get different things from your novels?

Meyer: One of the things I've noticed — and this is just a generalization and I know there's a lot of exceptions — but it seemed like the moms were more willing to give the idea of second love a chance. Whereas a lot of people who have never fallen in love before want to think that when you fall in love, that's it, and you won't again.
