Dedicated to Heather and John

Okay so when I used to get on baby center they had this funny thread called "You know you have a boy when.........", so I wanted to start it here in honor of Heather and John's baby being due today. So post your funny stories about your little snakes, snails and puppy dog tails. (If you don't have boys and want to post about your little girls, that's fine too. So here are mine:

1. He sleeps with bouncy balls instead of Teddy bears.
2. He brings you pretty rocks instead of flowers.
3. He knows the BSU cheers before his ABC's
4. He insists on wearing his pj's all day long, even to church. (no we didn't let him)
5. He insists on wearing the same shirt over and over and over.
6. He makes you pretend the shopping cart is a race car
7. You visit the ER 4 times before he's two.
8. When he finally does start bringing you flowers he picks the neighbors roses
9. When you tell him not to pick the neighbors roses he asks, "But then how will you ever get flowers?" (to be fair Stillman gets me flowers all the time for no reason)
10. He makes you wear a construction helmet with him all day long.
11. He uses your rings from your ex-boyfriends as part of his pirate treasure.
(These are mostly things Alex does. For Jayden I think the only difference you would notice is that he is able to pee on you from across the room.)

* Every shooting/laser/sound effect is accompanied by a spray of spit
* Every action is accompanied by said shooting/laser/sound effect
* He starts chanting, "DIARRHEA!" on your first visit to a friend's house
* He's obsessed with all things electronic and can find a power button faster than you can say, "switch"
* He's sweeter and snugglier than you ever expected a boy to be!

... just off the top of my head - might come up with some more later ;-)

Oh - and one Sunday, yes, I did let him wear his PJs to church - it was the least of our battles that morning, and it was Drill weekend, LOL! ;-) But he does wear his PJs all day unless he wants to vacuum - then he feels some strange compulsion to be dressed beforehand, LOL.

*He kisses you and gives the best hugs!
*He always greets you with excitement when you come home after a short getaway.
*He loves his siblings.
*He gets food where food should never be, ie:hair, nose, ears, down the shirt..ect.
*He knows where to find the dirt and how to get it everywhere you don't want it.
*He is a tough guy...and the scars show.

And many others, but this is the short version...Good Luck Heather and John!

I'm just getting started with my little boy of course, but here goes-
-He claps his hands and squeels when the Broncos win.
-Talks in his sleep before he can talk.
-Loves to spit. And thinks its funny when he sneezes with a mouthful of food.

OH and I remember the sunday Kiddo wore his PJs to church. I thought "thats interesting" At least he had his church clothes over his pjs

* He holds the vacuum nozzle attachment like a rifle, aims, and makes said shooting/spitting sound effect. (I had to tell him we don't shoot at people - only targets.)
* He NEEEEEEDS his "Touchdown Shirt" out of the laundry!!! Now!!!

Brigitte - that was the GOOD Sunday, LOL! He wore straight puppy jammies one week, which everyone just thought was a cute little outfit. ;-) Determined little guy.

Everything Michelle posted reminds me of Claire! She is a special kinda girl. My boys are the best snugglers! It is amazing how they come out of the womb with sound effects! The one thing I would like to add is their need to discuss and investigate their "potty adventures." I think this is something that continues into adulthood!
