Jayden's One Year pictures

we finally got Jayden in for his one year old pictures. They turned out great. I love them. So glad that we captured a few of the Jayden faces I have been wanting to get pics of. I have tons more pictures since we bought the Cd. So LaVerne let me know and I can send them to you if you want any. Even the dirty feet on Alex. :) Alex found an iron man doll in their toys and he just so happened to be wearing his iron man shirt that day so we got a couple of him as well.

Prayers Needed

Yesterday Dr. Gregerson discovered that I have a cyst on my ovary. It is rather large and is complex. Sometimes cysts are complex, either containing partly fluid elements and partly solid elements or having septations (walls) within a fluid-filled cyst. Mine has a wall. In general, complex cysts are evaluated further, as some complex cysts may be cancerous. Your age and symptoms must be taken into account. Depending on exactly how the cyst looks on ultrasound, your doctor may recommend blood work, a CT or MRI scan to get a better look at the cyst, or even surgery to remove the cyst. Many times a complex cyst can be evaluated via laparoscopy, but sometimes a large abdominal incision is required.

He said I could have the laparoscopy now and have the cyst removed and then they would do a biopsy and test it for cancer. Or I could wait two months and see if it goes away. The Dr. said he highly doubts it is cancerous, but it is defiantly something that needs to be taken seriously. We did some blood work yesterday and I am waiting to hear the test results before making the decision to operate now or in two months. Thank you for your prayers in my behalf and we will keep you updated.

which Mutt is she

So when we first got Ginny we were told that she was a Springer Spaniel/Chow mix. If a puppy is chow they will have a black tongue by 8 weeks of age. Ginny is now about 9-10 weeks old and no sign of a black tongue. Not even a spot. Also others have told me that she looks nothing like a chow. Phew! Chows are very temperamental if not socialized well. I found this out after we got her.

So I have been doing some research trying to determine what she is. Some of her litter mates defiantly looked Springer especially in the ears. Her Mom was all yellow. I am wondering if Her mom was a golden lab/ spaniel Mix. Sometimes Pure Labs will have black spots on their tongue (pigment) causing some people to assume Chow. Some of her other puppy litter mates looked like an Australian Shepherd mix. I have been told she looks like a German Shepherd and an Akita which would also have a black or spotted tongue.

She has a gray ring around her tail. Research on the internet tells me this is a mismark common in labs. She is really good at retrieving and is prooving easy to train. Usually labs are all one color, but some Labs have different coloring. Her coloring is mostly Red and Brown. So now I am back to, what is she? My best guess is that she is a Spaniel/Lab on her Mom's side and Australian Shepherd on her dad's. So a Mutt. What do you think? here are some pics from the web.

This one is a Lab. The web site said that it is showing the color of the St. John water dog (One of the first in labrador retrievers) coming though.
These ones are the German Shepherd Mixes. This one is the Austrailian Shepherd/Lab mix. Right now she is looking the most like this one. Even down to the freckles on her face.

Camping Trip and a Name

Here is the slide show for our camping trip. It was really fun. I haven't been camping with my family in ages. The last time I went camping with Stillman was when I was pregnant with Alex. We went to Bonneville Hot springs. It rained almost the whole time, but it was great anyway. Thank you Bio Trip for making us tough. The kids had a blast. The Dog was cold and wanted to spend most of her time in the tent in her crate. Oh by the way we named her. We asked Alex what he wanted to name her and he said how about Gwen Stacy, she's a girl. It was so cute. How do you say no. I wanted her name to have something to do with her color. Her ears are a Brown Red color so her full name is Ginger Gwen Stacy . Pretty long huh. So for short we call her "Ginny"
