2 yrs old today!

Today is Jayden's Second Birthday! He has started it off with a kick, by overdosing on Motrin. Oh this kid has kept us on our toes! This morning Alex and I sang Happy Birthday to Jayden along with his pancake breakfast. Jayden sang along and said his own name for the first time!

We had his party on Sunday with family and friends. He had a Cookie Monster cake. Jayden has taken more to Cookie than Elmo lately, we were debating weather or not to do an alphabet theme party because Jayden loves the alphabet. However Cookie is always promoting numbers and letters so it fit. I will have to post pictures of the party later, I also need to post birthday pics of Alex too. Right now my camera battery is dead and I have lost my charger. We sure missed those of you that couldn't be with us, but are thankful for all the Birthday wishes you sent.

Happy Birthday Jayden!

Five Years Old!

Happy Birthday Alex!! It is so hard to believe that he has gone from that little baby to looking so old. Just looking at last years pictures he has lost his little boy look. His face is leaner and you can almost see what he will look like as an adult. Happy St. Patrick's Day and enjoy these little leprechaun pics.

Not of this earth

I went shopping today with two kids in toe. Alex was lagging behind a little. I walked around an isle and had to call for him to keep up please. Soon he comes tearing around the corner and says "Mom I saw a scary person who does not belong on this earth." Now before you judge him to harshly I must interpret for him "Not on this earth" means "Not in real life", or "Make-believe" for examples Superheros are not on this earth, Ghosts are not on this earth, neither apparently are witches, or Little old ladies who bare a striking resemblance to Snow White's Stepmother........

Where do I begin. I began telling him how not everyone looks the same, How Heavenly Father made everyone look different because it would get really confusing if everyone looked like Alex, And of course how Heavenly Father loves all of us and we should too, no matter what they look like.
Near the Cereal isle he whispers "Look mom, There she is"

A little old lady was walking by, she was short and a little hunchbacked. To me she looked very sweet. I think it was the shawl covering her head that made her appear too mistrusting to be of this world.
