May

Phew! No wonder I am behind, a lot happened in May. First off we'll start with Soccer. This team Rocked! Not that we were keeping score or anything, but they were undefeated.

One of Alex's Goals

This is with out a doubt why the kids play soccer: The Tunnel

Here is a video of an assist by Teammates Adam and Abby and a Score by Alex!
Proof why these kids were awesome!

We took the kids out for some spring pictures. The weather was crazy that day and super windy. So these windmill's came in handy.

The river was so deep! I think we will try these pictures again in the fall,
when they can get out in the river and play a bit. But the boots are super cute!

Jayden's Idea of  a smile

Some awesome action shots

My personal favorite!

Jordan went to the Temple. This was a great experience to have everyone attend.

Jeremy Graduated.

Alex Graduated!

This is his WildCat face for the song Willow Creek Wildcats. He doesn't think his face is fierce enough. I disagree.

April

Okay so I am four months behind on my blogging. I figure if I do 1 month a day I can get it done in four days. That's doable right? So We'll start off with Easter.

The Boys

Alex is preparing our traditional black Egg. We forgot about it until the next morning so it was really black!

Round two at Grandmas and Grandpas

The Boys got new Easter outfits

Alex must have changed his shirt because this isn't his new shirt, but he makes this look good.

The Loot

I tried loading the video but it wouldn't load. So I stole some pictures from LaVerne's blog.

Jayden Turned Three! He loves Thomas the Train. That might be an understatement. Grandma Donna found these trains at Easter, So I went back a got a few more to save for his birthday cake. We celebrated Jayden's Birthday on Saturday. When more family and friends were able to make it. On his real birthday we had a little birthday party and he opened a Buzz Lightyear and Woody doll, then we all went swimming at the rec center.

Showing Grandma Vernie how old he is

He got a little close to the candle

Here he is showing us how fast he can do a puzzle.

Happy Birthday Jayden! You are super cute!

It's going to be epic.............but it's no Rob Schneider

Okay so how sad is it that I am blogging about this instead of catching up my blogs about us. yeah.

11 yrs ago I was home from college. I saw on Jordan's dresser a stack of books. I had been away at college and my brother and I were very close before I left. He was about eight years old so since he hadn't started them, I offered to read the books to him. We opened the Sorcerers Stone and read the first chapter. Kinda Boring. We put it down and didn't read it for a while. One day we were at the movie together when we saw the preview for the movie. Now that looked exciting. So we went home and started reading it again. Pretty soon we couldn't put it down. We were reading it during all hours of the day. I was sure that J.K. Rowling was like any other children's author and her ending was going to be pretty obvious. She proved me wrong. I did not suspect him!!!!! She was no ordinary children's Author. We started the second book. We were going to figure out who did it. Could it be Percy!?! Jason sat down with us and began listening. Then My Mom sat down and started listening. I can't remember at what point Brigitte was home from college, but soon all of us would gather around and read the books together. We became Rapid Readers! (Brian Reagan? Anyone? No? OK)  The Rat! I did not suspect the Rat! I love J.K. Rowling's style of writing. I love how she puts tiny tidbits of information in one book ("Young Sirius Black lent it to me")  that later becomes pivotal points in later books (I know I've red that name somewhere before. Now I have to read them again.) How many of you remembered where the locket was? because I did!

We finished all three books very quickly.
Now What? This was when not everyone had Cell phones and most of us had dial up. I didn't go to google for everything back then. I was walking through the store when low and behold the fourth book was already out!!

fast forward .......On my Honeymoon I went out and bought the fifth book. My husband decided he had better give the books a try. A co-worker wisely started him on the third book. It's a good one. He had seen the second movie and didn't like it. So after he read the third book, he decided he should start from the beginning. Smart. He was hooked.
We took our baby to the midnight party of the sixth book and began reading it on the way home.

When the seventh book came out, we would get together with family members so the kids could play and we could read. We also had an all Harry Potter Halloween Partly. Pathetic you say. Read the Books.

So yeah, you could say that I am pretty excited to see the movie. I am also sad to see it end.

Jordan I will hold a moment of silence for you. I started it with you and I am sad I cannot see this last one with you. However I do have a pretty hot date.
