I have to write these funny things down least I forget.
So today Alex is getting out of the bathtub and he informs me of his new name. It is ALEXPARKERNORTONFOUR. That is what he would like to go by. I told him that sounded like he was some kind of prototype. "No, silly Mommy".
So then later he is deciding what he wants to wear today. I have to give you a little background to this story: We were at the D.I. and Alex found this Spiderman dress shirt. A little too fancy to wear anywhere but church and yet a little irreverent for church. He brings me it and shows me it. So I tell him to go ask Daddy what he thinks. Instead Alex put it in the cart and then Stillman paid for it. We both assumed the other one had wanted to buy the shirt for Alex. Nope. So he decided he wants to where the shirt. It is mostly blue and red. The only pair of pants he has is a green cordiroy pair. So we put it on him and he insist that he button all the buttons up to the very top. It looks so Nerdy that we can't stand to see him go out like this. Stillman wonders if he would be a bad parent if he "accidently" spilled water on him. And yet he insists, because, and I qoute, "It's like Spiderman (The Shirt) is attacking the Green Goblin (The pants)". Yep that is exactly what it looks like.
We finally convince him to wear a pair of khaki pants. He looks a little better. Just a little dressy for the Dr. Office. But oh well. He is still insisting that he button the top button. I asked him if I could at least spike his hair so he looks a little better.
"No, because I won't be myself anymore, I will be STILLMANNORTONTWO."
P.S. Alex calls his Christmas Stocking his Beanstock. He also calls his elbow his Arm Bow.

November

We were sealed in the temple. This was a very special time for us. Everyone present felt the spirit. We are all so grateful for this special blessing in our lives.

This was the cake I made for them.

We celebrated some birthdays.

I think you are all caught up now. sorry it took so long. For most of September, and October we have been sick with one thing and then another. And once again we are sick. but the good new is I think we have had almost every virus out there. So hopefully we are done.

GOAL!!
I am now a Soccer Mom. Stillman is now a Soccer Coach. Alex is now a Soccer player. I never really imagined being a soccer mom as neither Stillman nor I have ever really been interested in Soccer. We are more of a football family. but how can you resist when they look this cute!

We have had a bit of a struggle since all of our kids are first years and we are playing teams that have a mixture first and second year kids. Not to mention I don't think we have gone a week without someone on our team being sick with the flu. However they are making great strides and really getting the hang of it now. Today Alex scored two goals. (They are not his first goals) but still very exciting whenever it happens. Actually he scored three, but the third one was an accident. He was trying his hardest to keep the other team from scoring a goal but the ball hit his foot and then went in the other teams goal. He was so cute when he was telling us how disappointed he was that he had did that. We told them that he still did a good job at getting between the goal and the ball. He always says "I want to play defense today." I am not sure he knows exactly what that means, but he is good at it. I will have to post some video later. We still have two games left if anyone wants to come watch. They are Saturday the 17th at 11:30 a.m. and Saturday 24th at 11:30 a.m.

Reaping the Harvest
Since the temperatures were going to drop below freezing tonight we decided to go out and harvest our garden. And What A Plenty! Were sure saved a ton of money by having a garden ;). I think we have enough food here for a meal, well not even that. Maybe next year when we start a little earlier we can get more food out of it. We did get about five pumpkins. Four are still out there. We are hoping they can get a little bigger. They are all tucked in for the night and tomorrow bright and early I will go out and give them a wash and try to save them from the frost. We sure did have fun though. Well worth it.
