June

June! what a fun month!

Jayden got new Thomas Glases

He became an expert at the Evo shift. He is playing  a match game. He scored Genius level. Maybe I should have him tested. J/K

We have spent a few hours here this summer

Jayden entered boot camp

Alex asked me if I knew any real cowboys. I told him the hat was your Great Grandpa and he was a Real Cowboy! His eyes got super wide!

We started a job chart, it's in two parts..
This is what I call Money chore. They are the chores that are more hard to do. They get a quarter for each chore. I know I'm cheap.

Everyday chores that they are responsible for. This has been a HUGE help

They bought a book and a bear with their money

I added some pictures but most of this section I stole from my Mom's blog, but I helped write and take the pictures so that makes it OK.

Our family has been busy the last few months preparing for Jordan's Mission call. On April 19th 2011 he was called to the Kentucky Louisville mission. He will serve for two years. On Monday evening we left for Utah to drive him down to Provo. We stayed in Salt Lake where we met up with some family members. We were able to attend a morning session at the Salt Lake Temple and then we toured the temple grounds with family and friends. We went out to wingers (Jordan's request). Later that evening we had a special family devotional and Jordan received a father's blessing. On Wed morning we drove to Provo. We stopped at an In and Out for lunch, where apparently it is a popular last meal for Missionaries as we ran into 8 other recently called missionaries that were having their last meal with family. They were all so excited to see each other. Jordan said he became less nervous when it became real that he was not the only newbie entering that day. We then drove him to the MTC.

Alex requested this picture. Notice he about the only one looking

Here is a link to a video of us dropping Jordan offHalf of us had to say a quick goodbye at the church parking lot across the street. We were only allowed one car in as 100 cars pull up to the curb every 15 min. So the rest of us packed in like sardines and drove him through the gates and dropped him off at the curb. We said another quick goodbye as he was greeted by the helpful Elders that would show him around that day.

If anyone would like contribute to his mission fund that would be greatly appreciated as their is not a fund available through the ward. You may send contribution to:

May

Phew! No wonder I am behind, a lot happened in May. First off we'll start with Soccer. This team Rocked! Not that we were keeping score or anything, but they were undefeated.

One of Alex's Goals

This is with out a doubt why the kids play soccer: The Tunnel

Here is a video of an assist by Teammates Adam and Abby and a Score by Alex!
Proof why these kids were awesome!

We took the kids out for some spring pictures. The weather was crazy that day and super windy. So these windmill's came in handy.

The river was so deep! I think we will try these pictures again in the fall,
when they can get out in the river and play a bit. But the boots are super cute!

Jayden's Idea of  a smile

Some awesome action shots

My personal favorite!

Jordan went to the Temple. This was a great experience to have everyone attend.

Jeremy Graduated.

Alex Graduated!

This is his WildCat face for the song Willow Creek Wildcats. He doesn't think his face is fierce enough. I disagree.
