We didn't get the house.
Well we didn't get the house. The bank decided to go with the other offer. We are looking on the bright side, the house was located within smelling distance of the meat plant. So maybe its a good thing. So we are currently searching the market for another one. We went and looked at another house today which had some great qualities and some not so great qualities. Its a little older so at least every room needed some work. One of the weirdest things was that they burned candles so you could see the outline of all the pictures on the wall and all studs in the wall. I have never seen a house where you could see the outline of the studs in the wall. Anyway we decided to be picky and I think we will pass on this one. So we are still looking....and Looking... Keep an eye out for us.

We sure would love to have you move close to us! It's too bad the home didn't work out. Let us know what you are looking for in a house.
it's ok, you can admit it - you were soo looking forward to being close to the smell of meat. sniff-aaahh...
We are looking for a house that is 4 bdrm 2bath. Newer in the 150,000 range.

Sorry to hear the news - that totally stinks! (Although not literally as much as it could have, right? ;-)
There are tons of places around us, too! (And not CBH-quality new ones ;-) No meat plant, no Carnation plant, no beet plant in smelling distance... and NO CCRs!!!!
When the right house comes, you will know! Keep your heads up and the right place, at the right timing will come! We are so excited for you! This is a big step!
Well, the positive side is that you are looking! Jon and I are still in an apt. and I can't wait until he gives me the go ahead to start looking :0) Come to AZ- lots of foreclosures here.
